We are a small family run hotel conveniently located in the north of the island. The hotel combines the rustic charms of the island and has been renovated to include modern amenities for your comfort. It’s the perfect place to stay if you want to experience the esence of the real Ibiza!
THE STORY OF SES ARCADES
It all started a little over half a century ago when a young Ibicenco, Joan, decided to embark on a new journey which then catered to the hippies visiting the island centered in the municipality of Sant Joan.
As natives of the island, Joan’s family had lived in the surrounding forests for several hundreds of years, but none of his family of payeses (a term used to describe the locals from the countryside), had attempted anything like this.
The task seemed daunting at first, however, with the help of his younger brother, Pep, they began the project.
After laying many, many bricks and exercising a bit of patience, the establishment was finally ready. Since then, Ses Arcades has
become a meeting point for both locals and visitors alike with occasional sheep dropping by for a look

In 2020, we made efforts to completely renovate the hotel while not straying from the charm of the Payeses.
